# RedactIR vs Redact PDF

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Redact PDF at 15.1 against RedactIR's 18.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RedactIR sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Redact PDF sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
