# BitMeter vs Data Budget Tracker

The clearest difference is update cadence: Data Budget Tracker at weekly against BitMeter's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BitMeter sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Data Budget Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BitMeter ships an update monthly, Data Budget Tracker weekly. Both last shipped on October 6, 2026.
