# My vs DiaryPal

The clearest difference is ads: DiaryPal at none against My's shown. DiaryPal also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and DiaryPal sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
