# Trace vs WeekiScope

The clearest difference is update cadence: WeekiScope at every 2 days against Trace's weekly. WeekiScope also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trace sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and WeekiScope sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Trace ships an update weekly, WeekiScope every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
