# Future Letter vs Apex Speedometer

The clearest difference is update cadence: Apex Speedometer at every 2 weeks against Future Letter's monthly. Future Letter's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Future Letter sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Apex Speedometer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Future Letter ships an update monthly, Apex Speedometer every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
