# VU Studio vs DEES TAPE

The clearest difference is rating: DEES TAPE at 5.0 against VU Studio's 4.1. VU Studio's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VU Studio sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and DEES TAPE sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DEES TAPE holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VU Studio has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

VU Studio ships an update every 6 days, DEES TAPE weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
