# TaskPocket vs Alcove

The clearest difference is update cadence: Alcove at weekly against TaskPocket's every 2 weeks. Alcove also leads on device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TaskPocket sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Alcove sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
