# OVERDRIVE vs TerraDrive

The clearest difference is ads: OVERDRIVE at none against TerraDrive's shown. OVERDRIVE also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OVERDRIVE sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and TerraDrive sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
