# Cage Path vs Aussie Rules Star

The clearest difference is rating: Aussie Rules Star at 5.0 against Cage Path's 4.2. Aussie Rules Star also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2). Cage Path's advantage is review sentiment (90% vs 50%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cage Path sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Aussie Rules Star asks for nothing beyond the download.

Aussie Rules Star holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cage Path has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of Cage Path's written reviews are positive against 50% of Aussie Rules Star's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cage Path ships an update every 2 weeks, Aussie Rules Star every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
