# BloomStep vs GemStep

The clearest difference is update cadence: GemStep at daily against BloomStep's every 4 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BloomStep sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and GemStep sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BloomStep ships an update every 4 days, GemStep daily. Both last shipped on October 2, 2026.
