# Studio Field vs REK

The clearest difference is price: REK at Free against Studio Field's $29.99. REK also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 60%) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). Studio Field's advantage is chart position (#128 vs unranked) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On rating, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

REK is free to download; Studio Field costs $29.99 up front. Studio Field sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and REK sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Studio Field against 5.0 for REK. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Studio Field has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 60% of Studio Field's written reviews are positive against 100% of REK's.

Studio Field ships an update every 5 days, REK every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
