# PLANNER vs Shared Calendar

The clearest difference is update cadence: Shared Calendar at every 2 days against PLANNER's every 4 days. PLANNER's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PLANNER sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Shared Calendar sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PLANNER ships an update every 4 days, Shared Calendar every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
