# Sword Origin vs YG NextGen

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Sword Origin at 100% against YG NextGen's 25%. Sword Origin also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). YG NextGen's advantage is rating (2.6 vs 1.8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sword Origin sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and YG NextGen sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

YG NextGen holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 1.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Sword Origin's written reviews are positive against 25% of YG NextGen's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sword Origin ships an update fortnightly, YG NextGen monthly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
