# Magic Motion vs BracesHelp

The clearest difference is rating: BracesHelp at 4.3 against Magic Motion's 2.4. Magic Motion's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 18 months) and review sentiment (21% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BracesHelp holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magic Motion has 84 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of Magic Motion's written reviews are positive against 0% of BracesHelp's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Magic Motion ships an update every 3 months, BracesHelp every 18 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
