# Master 1000 vs Active Recall

The clearest difference is update cadence: Active Recall at every 3 days against Master 1000's every 11 days. Master 1000's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Master 1000 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Active Recall sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Master 1000 ships an update every 11 days, Active Recall every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
