# Scriptcue vs Cutaway

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cutaway at every 6 days against Scriptcue's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scriptcue sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Cutaway sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $22.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scriptcue ships an update every 2 months, Cutaway every 6 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
