# Scriptcue vs Teleprompter

The clearest difference is ads: Scriptcue at none against Teleprompter's shown. Teleprompter's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scriptcue sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Teleprompter sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scriptcue ships an update every 2 months, Teleprompter every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
