# Kinemetron vs MergeHDR

The clearest difference is update cadence: MergeHDR at every 5 days against Kinemetron's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kinemetron sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MergeHDR sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kinemetron ships an update every 2 months, MergeHDR every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
