# AcidLog vs StepScroll

The clearest difference is update cadence: StepScroll at every 2 days against AcidLog's every 3 weeks. AcidLog's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AcidLog sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and StepScroll sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AcidLog ships an update every 3 weeks, StepScroll every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
