# Lucent vs Scatto

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lucent at every 10 days against Scatto's monthly. Lucent also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lucent sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Scatto sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lucent ships an update every 10 days, Scatto monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
