# Lucent vs CDNC

The clearest difference is ads: Lucent at none against CDNC's shown. Lucent also leads on device support (3 vs 1). CDNC's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 days). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lucent sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and CDNC sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lucent ships an update every 10 days, CDNC every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
