# WorldHunt vs boxd

The clearest difference is ads: boxd at none against WorldHunt's shown. boxd also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). WorldHunt's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WorldHunt sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and boxd sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WorldHunt ships an update every 2 days, boxd every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
