# Ember vs Stillwise

The clearest difference is update cadence: Stillwise at every 2 days against Ember's every 9 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ember sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Stillwise sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ember ships an update every 9 days, Stillwise every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
