# EarType vs Spelling Test Maker

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: EarType at 17.0 against Spelling Test Maker's 26.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EarType sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Spelling Test Maker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
