# Dodast vs FloatMusic

The clearest difference is ads: FloatMusic at none against Dodast's shown. FloatMusic also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). Dodast's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dodast sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and FloatMusic sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dodast ships an update every 3 weeks, FloatMusic every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
