# Grava vs Hunger

The clearest difference is update cadence: Hunger at every 5 days against Grava's every 2 weeks. Hunger also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Grava sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Hunger sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Grava ships an update every 2 weeks, Hunger every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
