# God Focus vs Holy Doomscrolling

The clearest difference is monetization model: God Focus at free with in-app purchases against Holy Doomscrolling's subscription. God Focus also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Holy Doomscrolling's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks) and ratings volume (15 vs 5). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. God Focus sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Holy Doomscrolling sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

God Focus holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 15 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

God Focus ships an update every 2 weeks, Holy Doomscrolling every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
