# StepCat vs NekoWalk

The clearest difference is ads: StepCat at none against NekoWalk's shown. NekoWalk's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StepCat sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and NekoWalk sells 13 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StepCat ships an update every 2 weeks, NekoWalk every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
