# Block Squad vs Otter Sort

The clearest difference is update cadence: Otter Sort at every 2 days against Block Squad's every 6 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Block Squad sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Otter Sort sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Block Squad ships an update every 6 days, Otter Sort every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
