# GhostLab vs SpiritTrace

The clearest difference is rating: SpiritTrace at 5.0 against GhostLab's 4.6. GhostLab's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly) and ratings volume (19 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GhostLab sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SpiritTrace sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SpiritTrace holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GhostLab has 19 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GhostLab ships an update every 2 days, SpiritTrace weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
