# Step Scroll vs DoomIt

The clearest difference is update cadence: Step Scroll at every 3 days against DoomIt's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Step Scroll sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and DoomIt sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Step Scroll ships an update every 3 days, DoomIt fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
