# IrisFold vs MONKIRI

The clearest difference is update cadence: MONKIRI at every 11 days against IrisFold's every 6 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IrisFold sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MONKIRI sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IrisFold ships an update every 6 weeks, MONKIRI every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
