# Ideally vs Noted Note

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ideally at every 3 days against Noted Note's every 2 months. Ideally also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ideally sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Noted Note sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ideally ships an update every 3 days, Noted Note every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
