# SipStep vs BEwater

The clearest difference is ads: BEwater at none against SipStep's shown. BEwater also leads on device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SipStep sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and BEwater sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SipStep ships an update every 4 days, BEwater every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
