# Retro Desktop Notes vs Noted Note

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Retro Desktop Notes at 17.0 against Noted Note's 26.5. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Retro Desktop Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Noted Note sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
