# Kotoba Dōjō vs Magic Books

The clearest difference is update cadence: Kotoba Dōjō at every 3 days against Magic Books's monthly. Kotoba Dōjō also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kotoba Dōjō sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Magic Books sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
