# Next Time vs Kontext

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Kontext at 18.0 against Next Time's 26.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Next Time sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Kontext sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Next Time ships an update every 2 weeks, Kontext weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
