# Sol vs ThisDay

The clearest difference is update cadence: ThisDay at every 9 days against Sol's every 5 weeks. ThisDay also leads on device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sol sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and ThisDay sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sol ships an update every 5 weeks, ThisDay every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
