# Planeta vs Sumbi

The clearest difference is monetization model: Sumbi at free against Planeta's freemium. Planeta's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Planeta sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Sumbi sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Planeta ships an update every 4 days, Sumbi weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
