# Smolpad vs Jottle

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Smolpad at 18.0 against Jottle's 26.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smolpad sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Jottle sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Smolpad ships an update every 10 days, Jottle weekly. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
