# SipSmart vs Moderation

The clearest difference is update cadence: Moderation at daily against SipSmart's weekly. SipSmart's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 27.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SipSmart sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Moderation sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SipSmart ships an update weekly, Moderation daily. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
