# Perfumedia vs Nosebox

The clearest difference is rating: Nosebox at 5.0 against Perfumedia's 2.9. Perfumedia's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (13 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Perfumedia sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Nosebox sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nosebox holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Perfumedia has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Perfumedia ships an update every 8 days, Nosebox every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
