# Routine Timer vs Tidu

The clearest difference is ads: Routine Timer at none against Tidu's shown. Tidu's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Routine Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tidu sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Routine Timer ships an update every 9 days, Tidu every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
