# SzewMate vs Prevo

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SzewMate at none against Prevo's 3. Prevo's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prevo sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. SzewMate asks for nothing beyond the download.

SzewMate ships an update every 2 weeks, Prevo every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
