# Verity Authenticator vs Hands

The clearest difference is update cadence: Hands at every 3 days against Verity Authenticator's monthly. Verity Authenticator's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Verity Authenticator sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Hands sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Verity Authenticator ships an update monthly, Hands every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
