# Specula vs Jellystats

The clearest difference is ads: Specula at none against Jellystats's shown. Jellystats's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Specula sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Jellystats sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Specula ships an update every 3 days, Jellystats every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
