# CapTap vs SQUISH LAB

The clearest difference is ads: SQUISH LAB at none against CapTap's shown. SQUISH LAB also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CapTap sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SQUISH LAB sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CapTap ships an update monthly, SQUISH LAB weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
