# TV Remote vs NoRemote

The clearest difference is ads: NoRemote at none against TV Remote's shown. NoRemote also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). TV Remote's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TV Remote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and NoRemote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TV Remote ships an update every 4 days, NoRemote every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
