# Secure Proxy vs Torrent

The clearest difference is ads: Secure Proxy at none against Torrent's shown. Torrent's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Secure Proxy sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Torrent sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Secure Proxy ships an update every 2 weeks, Torrent every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
