# TripMax vs DriveTrace

The clearest difference is ads: DriveTrace at none against TripMax's shown. DriveTrace also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). TripMax's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TripMax sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and DriveTrace sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
